- 虽然将原作中完整的“碧游村”篇人为分成了两季，但本季仍将《一人之下》系列带到了“罗天大醮”篇之后的另一个高峰，这恐怕在很大程度上得益于原作中相关段落的深度。
- “碧游村”篇在推进主线剧情的同时，自成一幕完整的悲剧，由陈朵串起黑堡（陈俊彦、风波命）、公司（董事、负责人、临时工）、碧游村（村长、上根器、村民）和其他地方（王也、诸葛青）的大量角色，形形色色的人物或许都有些自己的打算、癖好或者命格，但没有一个是真正意义上的大反派，却最终归于陈朵，引出了一个从初始就注定了的悲剧结果。回过头来看，才发现每个角色的选择都在回应着无法选择的陈朵，也旨在告诉观众：渴望进行自由选择的陈朵，是个体意义上注定的悲剧。同时，上升到集体而言，过度提供自由选择的马仙洪，则是社会意义上注定的悲剧。
