- 央水的美术风格固然古典厚重，但拍摄手法过于陈旧，前期观感平淡。后期的创作思路非常大胆，思想内核十分锋利，强烈的现实主义风格，政治讽喻批判性比新水激进许多，彻底地反封建秩序，反权威官僚，反宏大叙事。新水重心刻画天罡地煞人物群像，落脚点在兄弟情义，视听语言也更丰富新巧。新水的潜台词留白等隐性表达在央水中有了明示。央水剑走偏锋大量删减改动人物情节但逻辑自洽，也算创作上的取舍，虽被诟病，但在我看来是有独立品格和审美的改编，拍出了自己的味道。尤其在如今日益紧缩的创作环境、权力崇拜的社会氛围、热衷特权爽文叙事武侠已死的时代，这部二十多年前的电视剧显示出超越时代的意义和它真正的价值所在。水浒是完完全全植根于底层的叙事，它的底色永远是肃穆悲凉的，央水冷峻的笔调塑造出的历史厚重感悲剧感深刻阐释了这一点。
