- 主创们塑造的胤禛俨然满足了观众对历任Republic Leader形象的完美意淫：Emperor is forever 正确，forever英明&神武，forever处境艰难，Emperor也不容易——内忧外患，Schemer当道，言路闭塞。但只要Emperor指挥in person或是派下某位晴天大老爷，定能Eliminate Malfeasants，安抚民心，还百姓公道——但占据Emperor’s dominance logic首位的从不是human lives，而是Empire的stability。依靠底层想象叙述制造出的胤禛，其功能只有满足庶民们可怜的一厢情愿，以及各种把自己当爷、与Ruling Class无限共情的群体那骄傲的自我认同感。
- 作为历史形象的胤禛与二月河小说及胡玫电视剧中必然存在相当的差距，帝王心术内心的复杂，非剧中艺术形象将之有拔高之嫌的某种道德化身所能尽述，但作为影视文本的艺术成就，却无疑是一座丰碑，为君的孤独、改革的艰难、都表现得淋漓尽致，焦晃的康熙和唐国强的雍正几乎可并称表演上的两大范本垂范后世。
