- 作为现实主义的作品，编剧可以与经典的戏剧作品比肩，冲突之密集与深刻，人物之典型化，不输给戏剧史上的大师们；而其中对于后工业化社会种种社会现象的描摹，又让我们觉得比经典作品亲近许多。剧名“我们与恶的距离”特别准确。人们面对恶的应对方式，很容易趋向于简化、分类、隔离，你是坏人，我是好人，你是不正常的，我是正常的，仿佛这样分类与隔离之后，恶就能远离我们，眼不见心不烦。然而事与愿违，恶并不是生长于特定的人或人群，而是生长于每个人心中都有的仇恨、偏见、冷漠。只有我们都能明白，我们与恶的距离并不远，才能真正获得阻挡恶蔓延的力量。
