- 用了狄仁杰的背景，考究科普了很多唐朝的细节（街市、官职、宵禁、货币等）。看得出剧是花了大钱，很多一两个镜头的人，妆容服饰都考究，大量诡异、瑰丽场景更换那么多，最后一集也很多场面特效。武打戏更是非常的漂亮，非常的用心，各种兵器上场，包括罕见的锤、斧、铁伞等。演员表现也不错，杨志刚格外契合角色，有胡子比没胡子有魅力；杨旭文高大帅气也贴角色，打戏之后额头有汗，更是老功夫片都没有的细节；配角刻画得挺好，都很有记忆点。除了客串的老演员，年轻演员也很优秀，刘十八、独孤、太子等都演技很好，胡十四娘多风情啊，好久没见能演好这样的角色了，想起了张曼玉的金镶玉。以及，前后呼应，这还是权谋剧。...

- 是真的烂，杨志刚百年如一日的演技和台词，浮夸的造型，看不进去。（8月31日已看完，变成三星。第一个和最后一个案子很无聊，特别第一个案子简直融梗好多电影。服装除了官服以外都很奇怪，现代影楼装。各别故事悬念尚可，但全都推给各种神乎其神的术法就太扯淡了。）
