- 士兵突击，有着戏剧的波澜，也有着生活画面的质感，给观众超强的代入感。许三多诠释了全能兵王和军人精神，和战友们互相成就、共同成长。钢七连最珍贵的是人，是近百名受到良好训练、勇敢、富有军人荣誉感和牺牲精神的士兵和军官。重组钢七连是注定的，但老连队的精神会永远地传承下去，最好的，拆不散。电视剧抓住了当时军改的阵痛让人感同身受，过程虽然痛苦，但确实是在维持老兵的前提下进行现代化的唯一手段。最杰出的一点是塑造了一个个鲜活的角色，军中之母史今、宁折不弯伍六一、刀子嘴豆腐心的连长高城、新一代军官代表袁朗等，王宝强、段奕宏、张译在剧中都算是影帝级别的表演。
