- 本剧宋慈虽然也要被塑造为正面人物，也落俗套的加了女知己竹英姑在边，但比之它剧显得不太生硬虚假；啰嗦之处也有，但也不算太多，加之现在网络时代，快进快进也不成太大缺点；本剧最精彩之处恐怕还是那官场现形记，无能谄媚的吴淼水、阴险狡诈的刁光斗、表里不一的袁捷等等各有特点；曲终奏雅，种种弊政，终是官家不作为，区区一人难以回天...

- 片尾曲太好听了！人命大如天！但是，当那被抬进宣德殿的证据焚了个干干净净，眼泪刷的就流了下来。大宋已经毒疮满身。宋慈最后心灰意冷，终是归隐。
