- 一颗星给女二。前几集整体还有那么一丝丝的说得过去，后面大部分就不知道逻辑在哪里。唯独女二看着很真实，还有点演技。
- 中国拍了这么多历史剧《雍正王朝》《唐明皇》《武则天》《汉武帝》.....我觉得没有一部能比得上《大明王朝1566》。陈宝国扮演的不是嘉靖一人，而是隐喻了中国历史的千百帝王鬼影。中国这么多历史剧里，只有它根绝了权力的意淫，也许正因此，这部电视剧被观众忽略了。
